All the best for Christmas folks!

I mentioned Wobblette #2 winning her pentathlon last month but forgot the photo - here she is enjoying her moment on the podium.

This morning's run was nothing but fantastic. It was about 11-12kms long and it was cool, sunny and my legs felt great. Holly (the ever happy lab) was by my side and depite a mild over-hang my head quickly cleared and it was just one of those runs where I wished it could have lasted forever. The effort seemed minimal and I think I smiled the whole trip.

We are off for a couple of weeks of (Griswald style) holiday now, heading up to the Gold Coast after a brief stop over in Sydney. I'll back posting again early in the new year so to anyone reading this, my very best wishes to you and your families for a joyous Christmas and a safe, injury free and happy New Year.

I'm aiming at slipping in 60 more kms between now and the new year to finish the month with 100kms and the 2006 with a 1,000kms for the year.

And a merry xmas to you too mate. You know, you could have said anything festive and merry and it would have passed nicely as a suitable Chrissy message. However, your desription of one of "those" runs was just perfect.

Have a great holiday :)

Wob, it was the best of years; it was the worst of years... Hope the next one is more consistently good for you. I'm glad to see it all starting to come together again.
